Jo Garrity is a writer, filmmaker, and performer based in Spain. He draws on experience from Pixar, Saturday Night Live, History Channel, The Groundlings, and the Telluride Film Festival to create innovative and award-winning projects across film, television, music, theatre, and branded content.

Trabajo
Essays, poetry, screen and stage projects, and branded copywriting. Jo received an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of California, Riverside, with publications in Bloomsbury, Independent Magazine, and Curation Hour. Through Creativity Labs, he teaches unblocking expression through automatic writing and improv techniques. Currently he is developing a screen adaptation of THE PEPSI-COLA ADDICT, based on the lost novel by June-Alison Gibbons.

Performing
Trained and performed as an improviser and actor at The Groundlings LA, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre NY, BATS Improv SF, and Barcelona Improv Group. Jo was a scratch voice actor at Pixar and a member of the Pixar Players improv troupe. He continues to perform in commercial, radio, film, and stage projects, including the improvised radio plays of Windy Bluffs.
